Important conversations are occurring in our community and around the world regarding racism and discrimination. JCL staff have developed resource lists focused on understanding racism, amplifying the voices and experiences of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, and identifying and reducing discrimination and bias. The Jefferson County Library affirms its commitment to anti-racism, anti-discrimination, and the public library’s role as a space to promote conversation, growth, and understanding. The resources from our collection listed below are a good place to start.
