April 1st is Library Giving Day, a nationwide, 24-hour online fundraising campaign celebrating the public library and its crucial role in your community and our nation. Born in 2019 in the Seattle Public Library system, Library Giving Day has grown to include more than 545 library organizations from 46 U.S. States, 6 Canadian Provinces, and even Nairobi, Kenya.
The world is changing, but you can trust that the Jefferson County Library District is here for everyone. We understand that the library is essential for individuals of all ages and backgrounds who want to connect, learn new skills, explore new interests, and embark on new career paths. Your support is critical in providing the programs and services that make our Library District successful and accessible for all. This year, you can make twice the difference thanks to a generous matching grant of $5,000 provided by the Friends of the Jefferson County Library!
