The WSU Seed Library returns for another great season of growing! Join the effort to build our community’s food resilience. The WSU Seed Library is available at the Library or on the Bookmobile during regular business hours.
This year's Seed Library will feature WSU's 2024 Community Seed Project: sugar snap peas! In addition to peas, it will be stocked with plenty of seasonal vegetable, flower, and herb seeds. Instructions on planting and seed saving are provided on each seed package.
Here’s how it works:
1) Borrow a variety of seeds from the WSU Seed Library.
2) Grow beautiful, healthy plants to eat and for seed saving.
3) At the end of the season, return a portion of your seeds to the WSU Seed Library for the following year’s borrowers.
The WSU Seed Library is available March 17– September 15.
