2019 Farming Film Festival: Green Gold

Find out how regenerative farming is part of the climate change solution and global earth repair. Inspiring films about farmers working with and restoring ecosystems. Local efforts will be highlighted in discussion after each film.
The Farming Film Festival is followed by the Global Earth Repair Conference, May 3-5, 2019.
January 7 – Dirt Rich
Through exploration of geo-therapy strategies, Dirt Rich shines light on their value and beauty which undeniably are our last hope for protecting life as we know it on this challenged planet. 86 Minutes
January 14 – Healing the Soil
This film explores the Jadam Korean Natural Farming Method as trained and practiced on Kaua`i. Learn about locally sourced and produced methods for fertilization, pesticides, and bio-remediation of farms and land. 72 minutes
January 28 – Living the Change
This film explores solutions to the global crises we face today – solutions any one of us can be part of – through the inspiring stories of people pioneering change in their own lives and in their communities in order to live in a sustainable and regenerative way. 85 minutes
February 4 – Oyster Farming: Restoration of the Olympia Oyster and Community Shellfish Farming and Water Quality Restoration (Cancelled due to weather)
These two short films will be followed by community discussion and Q&A with Native and local oyster farmers. 36 minutes
February 11 – Green Gold (Cancelled due to weather — rescheduled showing on Wednesday, March 13)
This film documents large-scale ecosystem restoration projects in China, Africa, South America and the Middle East, highlighting the enormous benefits for people and planet of undertaking these efforts globally. 47 minutes
February 25 – Farming & Earth Repair Shorts
A series of short films which highlight farming success stories which include ecosystem restoration.
